I assume that many, many fans of videogames around the world have plunged headlong into Capcom's new "1-Shot" demo for the next remake Resident Evil 2 . It is no stranger to accidental violence, modern technology allows the gore of the game to be darker than ever.
However, people who have experienced different regions of the new demo have found something curious. The Japanese version of the demo has much less detail in its viscera, especially in the slimy scenes in the tweet below. There is a marked difference between the realistic details of the life ectomies of these poor zombie soaps.
There is no confirmation that this step towards violence will be implemented in the full version of Resident Evil 2 . It is possible, as Resident Evil 7 also to have fallen foul of some censors in the homeland of Capcom. We'll find out soon, with [ResidentEvil2 on the shelves of PS4, PC and Xbox on January 25th.
