Next Free Game From The Epic Games Store Revealed

In December of last year, Epic did, for lack of a better term, an epic promise to PC players. PC players using the Epic Games Store would get a free game every two weeks throughout 2019 and we all simply love things for free. So far, Epic has delivered the fantastic Subnautica, Super Meat Boy and, more recently, the brilliant What Remains by Edith Finch. Now, Epic has revealed the next free game that will arrive on January 24, 2019.

The next free game that PC players can take advantage of on the epic The Games Store will be Jackbox Party Pack. Although it does not have the critical acclaim of the previous three games, it could be something that few players have tried and many would find surprisingly fun to play.

So, what's this Jackbox Party Pack? Well, it's a collection of multiplayer games for single room parties that you and your friends can have fun. The collection includes:

  • You do not know Jack
  • Drawful
  • Word Spud
  • Lie Swatter
  • Fibbage

These games use your phones and tablets as controllers so everyone can participate in the fun and it's definitely something to try when there are some friends and you get bored.

Developers explain that:

Players play using their phones, tablets or even computers as controllers ̵

1; which makes the game perfect -in a piece of entertainment for your next evening or party. You do not need a big mess of controllers! Once a game has started from the in-pack menu, players simply connect to the "jackbox.tv" web address on their device and then enter the on-screen room code to enter a game.

I, for example, shelter I've already played, but since it will be the next free game on Epic Games Store, there's no reason not to try it. The free offer will be available from 24 January to 7 February 2019. If you take advantage of this freebie in time, Jackbox Party Pack will be yours to hold and play as you please.
