Gwyneth Paltrow revealed that her ex-husband Chris Martin has joined her and her new husband in a "honeymoon" extended to the Maldives.
The Oscar-winning actress, who married film producer Brad Falchuk on September 29 in the Hamptons, fled to Italy with her new husband just after marriage.
But then he spent Christmas in what he called "a great family honeymoon" in the Maldives.
Paltrow, 46, and Falchuk, 47, were accompanied by Isabella and Brody, her teenage children from her first marriage to Suzanne Bukinik, the television producer of the long-standing American sitcom According to Jim.
"It was a very modern honeymoon," said Paltrow. "We had fun."
Paltrow and Martin stayed close, often going on holiday together and reuniting for family celebrations.
The actress became an entrepreneur and Martin, 41, announced in 2014 that they were "consciously disjointed" after 10 years of marriage.
In December the Wall Street Journal reported that Falchuk and Paltrow were not living together, with Paltrow saying the couple was "still doing it their way."
He added: "With teenage children, you have to walk lightly, it is quite intense, the teenage thing."
Paltrow spends most of his time in Los Angeles, where he has Falchuk headquarters and where he lives near the Santa Monica offices of his lifestyle company, Goop. Apparently, Martin maintains a room at his home.
