We have known for some time that many of the superheroes who have turned to dust in Infinity War will be brought back to life in some way. We also know that time travel can be involved, as the pieces seem to be perfectly aligned so that the story follows that line. Now we have new evidence that seems to support the theory of time travel that we have seen dozens of times.
Published on Reddit, the following sales package for Avengers – tattered toys shows two Avengers, including Thor who wields his new hammer and Raccoon Rocket dressed in a special type of dress that we have never seen before. In the lower right corner of the package we also have Capitan Marvel and Captain America, but only this last presents a similar dress.
These images alone could mean nothing at first, until you remember that Hank Pym hung like that when he went to the quantum realm. This is a huge clue, as explained MCU Cosmic which implies that some of the Avengers will venture into the Quantum Realm to travel back in time.
Remember that Doctor Strange has many lines of Quantum Realm in Avengers 4 . And that Marvel made the point to tell the audience that you might encounter storm vortexes in the Kingdom – this is what Janet Van Dyne said in Ant-Man and the Wasp . Finally, we have other series of photos that reveal some scenes that will take place during the battle in New York, in which two versions of Tony Stark will be shown.
What the art of the sales package also reveals that Captain Marvel does not need a special suit to go to the Quantum Realm, otherwise it will not go there. We know, however, that Brie Larson shot scenes with Evangeline Lilly and Pom Klementieff for Avengers 4 . This is evidence that Wasp and Mantis will appear in the film, even if both characters died after Thanos's crack.
Finally, the picture above also seems to confirm that the art Avengers 4 we have seen at the start of this summer (see the upper right corner), it is real.
But wait, we have more news of Quantum Realm for you courtesy of CBR who sat down with Ant-Man and Wasp director Payton Reed to talk about the movie now that The digital output of the film is output. He confirmed what some of us already suspected, that the Quantum Realm is the home of other beings, including potentially dangerous ones. After all, Janet survived for a while and had a weapon when Scott found it. The digital version presents a deleted scene showing one of those creatures:
The scene you'll see is that they're coming back to Hank's quantum pod and have an encounter with a quantum creature. He is able to negotiate a momentary truce by communicating with this creature instead of fighting it or something. Mostly we cut it in time and momentum.
But it was a fun little detail to see a kind of foreshortening, you know, she did not sit for 30 years waiting to be saved. He has a whole life over there, and this is just a small glimpse of an interaction he has with a creature over there. So, it was really like finding that line in the final part of the film about how much to reveal about the Quantum Realm itself and its place in it.
This shows that the Quantum Realm is a much more complicated universe than we might have known, something @DanielRPK a well-known internal user, also teased on Twitter a few days ago.
However, Reed could not reveal too much detail about Janet's life in the Kingdom without ruining Avengers 4 . Janet is a bad guy? We have no idea, but from her appearance we will see more of her in future films. Also, since Janet turned into dust, it seems to be more proof that the deaths of Infinity War are not definitive.
I will also remind you that Reed suggested in previous interviews that the pieces are set for Ant-Man to return from the Quantum Realm using a temporal vortex, without actually explaining how things will go.
