The former Home and Away star Johnny Ruffo gave an update on his health after fighting a brain tumor that threatened life.
He told the Daily Mail Australia at the opening night of Charlie's factory and the chocolate factory in Sydney that his battle with the disease could be over.
"I'm doing really well, my next scan is in three weeks and if everything is clear then I'm completely clear," he revealed.
"That will be my last scan for now and then I have to have one more every three months – you have to keep checking it."
Johnny discovered he had a tumor in his brain after his girlfriend Tahnee Sims took him to the hospital when he complained of a severe headache.
"I was home and had a headache, but everyone has a headache and never thinks about it much," says Who Are Pete Timbs, a podcast host.
"It was going on and the situation got worse and worse, I arrived at 4 or 5 pm and could not speak, I could not communicate with her [Tahnee] to everything."
It was then that Tahnee decided that had to bring Johnny to the hospital. At the beginning he was told that it was just a 'migraine, but he was told to stay overnight for the tests. The next morning the doctors called Tahnee and revealed that her boyfriend had fallen into a coma, had a brain tumor and had to undergo an emergency surgery to remove it.
The singer also revealed that he has big projects for 2019.
"I have a lot of great projects," he said in 2019. "I have a new music coming out, the next song I'm going to publish is called Broken Glass .
"It's a kind of my experience in the last two years. I only take care of everything and what I've been through and the people who supported me. "
