China became the first country to successfully land on the far side of the moon, also known as the "dark" side of the moon.
It is commonly mistaken for the dark side of the moon as it is the side that looks away from the Earth and much of it is unknown.
The Chang & # 4 and landed inside the crater Von Kármán on January 3, 2019 and also successfully deployed its rover, Yutu-2.
We have seen images of both Chang & # 4 and Yutu-2 that provide panoramic views of the lunar surface and shows that the "dark" side of the moon is not dark at all.
